Today we celebrate Robert Watts at his 77th birthday (born 1938)
Robert Watts was production supervisor for A New Hope, associate producer for The Empire Strikes Back and the co-producer for Return of the Jedi. He also played a walker pilot in Return of the Jedi. Robert Watts is half-brother of Jeremy Bulloch (old Boba Fett).
The Walker pilot is one of the two AT-ST drivers in the vehicle that Chewbacca and two Ewoks landed on. He is the pilot peered out of the cockpit hatchway and was pulled out by the powerful Chewbacca.
In the 2014 reference book Star Wars in 100 Scenes, written by Jason Fry, he is named Blanaid.
In the 1999 Endor Limited expansion set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game he is first named Watts, but thats only legend.
